Thanks a Lot Ohio and Texas
March 5th, 2008. By AndrewThose of you who know me know I’m a pretty big Obama supporter, so I have to say I was somewhat disappointed with last night’s results. I still think he’ll probably win, but I was hoping he would’ve wrapped it up last night. Now this quagmire of a primary will continue for at least 7 more weeks.
With McCain now the presumptive nominee, that last thing we need is 7 more weeks of Obama and Clinton spending all their money and resources destroying each other. It’s pretty much the best thing that can happen for the Republicans. This is premature, but what the fuck: thanks a lot Ohio for once again handing the presidency to the Republicans. You screwed us in’04 and you’re certinly not helping us now. As for Texas, I’d say I was disappointed in you, but what should I expect from the state that elected George “shave that” Bush as their governer and as their president. I don’t know what the hell’s going on with that state.

the reality is that now both of them need to think much harder about what they’re doing now and will do in the future. they need to take their focus (and $$$) off attacking each other and put it towards making sure no one forgets what horrible conditions the republican party has put us in and will (hopefully) leave us in come november.

yeah, they should stop fighting. unfortunately, they wont. she’s too driven to bow out gracefully, and he seems to be unable to deliver a knock-out blow. also, now that she’s seen that negativity can help her, i think we’re gonna get a lot more of it.
